Photography has been a shift in my creativity, away from my life immersed in drumming and performing, towards a new form on expression.

From an early age I have explored the excitement of discovery through musical expression. As a self-taught drummer, my journey was always one of realisation, finding where I could go, limited only by the boundaries of my own creativity. Later in life, my musical journey became more formal through studying with well respected drummers and teaching myself the language of music notation.

These two approaches have helped me to understand the importance of combining both formal learning and self discovery, enabling me to produce the work that I have on display here on this website.
